I recently purchased some chalkwear heads. Some are easy to recognize, but here are 2 that I am not sure of. Any ideas? I think the first one may be a German soldier, and the second a sailor, but I need to be sure before listing.

The top one looks like he is wearing a captain's hat and the other just looks like a sailor.

YIKES!! Both have weird little pupils!

Looks like a "Before & after" image of some general having a night out on the town.
PS:Note the left over olive from his last martini.

The bottom one could be: Popeye.
And the top one is the guy who popped his eye!

The top one sure reminds me of Ernest Borgnine. (sp?)

These chalkware heads may be BOSSON'S. I have over 50 of them. They are highly collectible. Maybe this will help you in identification. Also, some collectors like them just because they are chalkware.
