Question:
Will ebay and Paypal be cross checking each others records? For example if a user was suspened by eBay but had been using Paypal all along since the suspension will Ebay then close their Paypal acount based on this suspension?

Q: If an account was frozen by PayPal will my eBay account be too?
A: Currently we have no plans to link the accounts like that
Logic and reasoning tells me there will be some sort of interaction eventually.
What if a buyer gave you enough problems on one of your seller's accounts that you found it wise to blocked him from future bidding. Would you also block him from bidding on your other seller accounts? If that buyer was also a seller would you place a bid in good faith on one of his auctions?

That would be stupid, since paypal is (or can be) used for a lot more than auction payments. Sales from a web site, transfer of $ to your college kid, etc.
If ebay did that they would guarantee that a competitor to PP would arise and have an advantage.
Of course ebay has never been accused of doing anything right...

If a seller scams a bunch of buyers and runs away and even stiffs eBay for the FVF's wouldn't you think PayPal might be better off not taking the risk in supplying that person a PayPal account?
If a person with a PayPal account scammed buyers on Yahoo, running away with the money stiffing PayPal do you think eBay would be better off not allowing them a seller's account?
Using the person's reputation on one service to evaluate them for a risk factor on another service isn't stupid by my thinking.
