As usual, the ebay site is pretty much offering me no help, so I'm asking the help of the real ebay experts on this board.
I had several auction end in the past month or so for the same item. One of the bidders never paid. I filed an NPB alert and yesterday I filed a final value fee request. I goofed and had the wrong auction - filing against one of the bidders who had paid. It's never happened to me before and was just a dumb mistake.
The bidder emailed me a "little" upset, I apologized and am trying to get through to ebay to correct the error.
I have been through endless loops of discussion boards, help pages, and so on - none of which have any answers for me and afford no way to contact ebay.
Anyone (please!!) know how I should proceed???
