My auctions that ended tonight no longer show the winning bidder's zipcode, just their email address.

Is this a temporary ebay glitch or what?

It is such a pain to send two emails - one for their zipcode and then one with shipping charges and total due. It's hard enough getting buyers to answer one email, let alone two. SIGH.

I just came over here to ask the same question. I checked the bidding history on some of my auctions and the zip codes are no longer there, even though I'm properly logged in. It looks like they are using the old template that they had before tthey added the zip code feature.

I just received one and it had the zip code, but it was a fixed price auction so maybe that is different.

They come and go. Sometimes every bidder on the Bid History has them even. Sometimes the winning bidder has the zip and sometimes it is only to be found on the winning bidder on the Bid History.
All of these chronic problems and yet ebay can't wait to add a whole slew of new bells and whistles to the mix.

I think Robertsmithson has nailed it. I've noticed the zips are sometimes there, sometimes not. I used to notice that I had to be sure to be logged onto ebay in order for those zips to show at the end of the auction; again, sometimes yes, sometimes no. Frustrating. If you can give it a few hours, they *may* appear! Good luck.

The zip codes should only show in the Bid History link after the auction is closed. I'd love to see the zips ( and international bidders ) of those bidding but ebay doesn't do it. If they did in the past it was either a glitch or a policy change has occured.

Ebay had to get rid of those pesky zip codes to make room for the "free shipping" logo. Oh yeah jack, pass the beer.

The zipcodes hav re-appeared in the bid history pages. Weird. After reading through the other thread about Ebay getting ready to crash, I'm wondering if they have been operating on their backup server most of this week? Could be that some of the bells and whistles haven't been added to the backup system yet.
