You could pay the fee to schedule the fixed price to launch on free list day.
dd
Also free list fixed price if not sold qualify for a free relist if it sells and you can change the format to auction if you want.

Hi, how do you do a fxed price auction? Do I have to sign up for ebay store? Also does my item show up on regular search if I do a fixed price auction?

I was just going to ask the same question as ironking.....Does your fixed price listing show up in eBay's regular search feature?
If it does, fine. If it doesn't, then I wouldn't bother with fixed price listings, free insertion or not.

isn't it just 10 bucks to start a fixed price auctiona ccount? Also you HAVE to take credit card payments, right?

I don't think there's any special requirements to list fixed price besides a feedback of 30 or more (or a feedback of 10 if you just list a quantity of 1). I know I didn't sign up for any special account.

I think some of you may be thinking of the ebay stores and their $9.95/month fee. That's much different than the fixed price listings.
walhalla - If you re-list a fixed-price item that doesn't sell as an auction item, and it then sells, do you receive the listing rebate? I thought that only applied when re-listing the same format as the original. Please let me know - thanks!

I know if you put the quantity more than 1 then it won't qualify for the free relist. If you just use a quantity of 1 then I'm not sure.

your saying you cannot put say, 10 items in a fixed priced format? The only way you'll get it free is 1...meaning if you have 10, you pay for 9?
I'm confused

No, sorry, I didn't mean to confuse you. You'll get a free listing on all 10. I was answering the question regarding if you're relisting an auction that didn't previous sell. And actually now that I think about that...if it was a relist you would still have to pay for the original listing anyway and they would credit you for the second relist (which in this case would be free anyway).
Ok...now I think I've confused everyone

HELP....I have been submitting fixed price listings at ebay and scheduling them for Thursday. I am still being charged listing fees. I thought when you schedule listings to start on Thursday they would be free.
