Here is the scenario: I buy from a large manufacturer who now wants to eliminate all sales of their product on eBay. They are upset with certain sellers listing the items at prices far below retail which is drawing complaints from their B&M and internet site retailers.
My question is....if they join the VERO program can they then cancel auctions that involve their items? Also, can a company grant permission to specific sellers, authorizing them to sell on eBay?

If the manufacturer chooses to participate in the VERO program they will have the ability to cancel unauthorized auctions listing their products. If you have approval to sell via eBay from this manufacturer, thay may grant you the right to continue selling on the site.

I deal with some footwear and apparel manufacturers that don't want their products on ebay. Some of them only sell to B & M stores that agree not to sell to online.

They can not however stop you from selling inventory you already own. There is something called the 'first sale doctrine' that permits you to sell what you own and they can not stop you, unless it is by contract language.
