Here's a link to a confidential internal memo
written by Meg Whitman, of ebaY fame. Am I getting senile or is she? Is there sense in her words?

.....Don't know if she's senile or not, but Meg should have used her spellcheck...She had Marty & Lynn "shepherding" the growth of the site...Hmmm...
I don't know to what you're referring when you put "shepherding" in quotes since it is spelled correctly. Furthermore, apostrophes {and other punctuation) were correctly and appropriately used. I have noticed that a great many posters here are not very proficient in the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation) because of ignorance, poor schooling, or the fact that English might be a second language for them. A case in point is that a recent poster had always thought that wrought iron was "rod" iron.

Oh, are you going to get it! When I pointed out a similar situation a long time ago, I was informed that "it's different for posters" and that posting here was akin to public service, and made the poster exempt from criticism.
Never forget: anything along the lines of a typo or other error by eBay is either a reflection of their gross incompetence or part of their plan to ruin civilization as we know it.
And in case anyone feels like nitpicking my posts, please refer to the information I was given in Paragraph 1, and save your typing finger.
