Four people from three weeks ago that I still haven't received payment from (one of which I'm not holding my breath as he expects me to eat the shipping cost).

I've got a few of them right now. A couple just never respond to the WBN or subsequent emails. Some of them I've found have their spam blockers set too high, or they've changed their email address but can't figure out how to change it on ebay. I try to give them a call if the profit margin justifies it. Otherwise, I just file NPB. Then there's the ones that want to striiiiiing you along as long as they can.
I've got one guy that won a bid on 3/1 for a limited edition, limited quantity drop ship item. Everyone else who won a similar item around the same week and paid promptly got their merchandise and got it quickly. This guy "can't figure out how to use paypal and is going to send a mo". 15 days later, no payment. I send the reminder. "I lost all my auction information when my computer went down--can you resend the invoice?" Okay, happens. I resend. 3/21 "Can't figure out paypal. I'll send a mo by priority mail on 3/22." 3/27 no payment. I find out the merchandise is out of stock and no more will be produced--remember it's limited edition, limited quantity. I email him, if you've sent payment, I'll return it, otherwise don't worry about it 'cause we're now out of stock. I get an irate email back "I sent payment a long time ago. I was wondering where my items were." Me: "I haven't received your payment. When I do, I will return it." Him: "If I haven't heard from you in two weeks, I'm filing a stop payment and a traceroute." Fine, whatever. File a traceroute on your non-existent payment. Me: "If you sent it priority mail on 3/22 as you stated in your email, it may take up to 7 days. If you sent it regular mail, it should be here in a couple days. I will return it to you unopened." Haven't heard back from him. Still no payment (of course).
I have absolutely no sympathy for these kinds of deadbeats who never send payment, despite repeated promises, and then scream 'cause the merchandise is no longer available. Serves 'em right.
