In most categories I'm searching, when the search page comes up, there are numerous thumbnail pictures next to the titles.

But when I search Wallpockets (under pottery), there are icons indicating pictures but no thumbnails, ever.

CAn someone explain what's going on here? There are many many wallpockets in the gallery, at all times, so I know it isn't a reluctance on the part of the sellers to spend a little extra money.

I've never noticed this phenomenon in any other search category, and I search a lot.

I'm bumping this up in hopes that someone will look at "wallpockets" on ebay and then at any other search page of your choosing. Tell me if I'm mistaken! It's very frustrating not knowing what's up.

By golly, Cheryl, you're right! The problem may have been that I'd bookmarked "wallpockets" for myself a long long time ago, and some cookies may have gotten disabled (differently abled??LOL) so that I couldn't see the pictures anymore. Wish I understood this stuff better. Anyway, I'm going to re-bookmark the wallpockets and hope that solves the problem. Thanks for your help.

Over 50% show thumnails, but I will say in a catagory like that where there are more than one wallpockets to a picture I would never put a picture on. I would want the buyer to go in and look. There are many times I don't use a thumbnail because the thumbnail doesn't show what your item really looks like. I think that picture makes the buyer lazy. They don't have to search and search but in my estimation there is nothing like a large picture of your auction.

Roadsmith all you would have to do is refresh your page that you bookmarked and it will come up with the new one...
