I feel really dumb asking this...if I sell items for someone else, do I lump them all together and then figure out the percentage or figure it out item by item.

If you are using different percentages, you have to figure each item out individually.
10%-$100= $10
5%-$100= $5 etc.

Do you mean your percentage for selling the item(s)? Ebay's fees? Paypal's fees? Vendio's fees? Depends on what fees and percentages you are talking about.

Your question was ambigious. Just what do you want? I charge 25% of the final selling price plus what ever it cost to put in the TOS. This is regardles of the final selling price per item.

No matter how you figure it out it will be the same whether you do them separately or lump them together. I think they call that the old math. If one auction ends at $10.00 and the next one at $40.00 = $50.00. 10% is $5.00. Or $10.00, 10% is $1.00. $40.00, 10% is $4.00 total is still $5.00. That's the new math.
