At age 5 (1953), I bought this cat kettle for Mum's day (with some financial help from da)!

Anybody recognize the markings?

SEEMS to BE: "ERPHILA est**** GERMANY"

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Name stands for - E.R. (initials) Phila (city of jobber) Philadelphia. Importers and jobbers of ceramics and other smalls from all over the world. Some of their items bring good money. That's a cute pot.

Erphila imported from everywhere, I've had perfumes from Japan, seen Taiwan labels on Erphila products.

Someone may get a good buy on this one. Rabbit is spelled wrong. It is also referred to as a pig I see.

Stopwhining,
This teapot is clearly marked Germany, what makes you think it was Czech?
