I do not sell internationally, my own personal reasons. I have it in bold font NO INTERNATIONAL on each auction (ok may lose sales, but...... )
I just started selling again after a few months off
Ok, I check, got a whole 5 bids but one name sticks out, so I check the ID and feedback thing.... Location: Netherlands. 9 Negs. Each feedback is in German, used babelfish on a few... see he is seller too.
A couple things got me: He sells, but will 'Sell only to Europe'. I try to look up past and current bidding (cuz of the negs) and I get a 'Cannot View' German Privacy Laws blah blah....
Well another thing! I updated Sellers Assistant (SA Pro) and refreshed all listing, it always gives the bidders email,on this particular bidder, it gives his ebay 'nickname' but under email addy it says 'Invalid Request' HUH?
What is with the German Privacy Laws.... I feel like I'm new to ebay now (though been here over 6 years ) but with the new page look, and all this other stuff.... I dunno.
Well, I guess I need to write him an email (that is if I can get his email address! ) and retract the bid.
I just don't understand this privacy thing that Germany has!
Thanks in advance, for any info or comments

Why not retract his bid. Block him from bidding again and wait for him to email you.
Obviously he doesn't read english as he does not understand NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS. But he does understand WILL ONLY SELL TO EUROPE

You can still look up someone's ID via their email address but you better not do it 10 times a day or they may cut off your privledges.
German privacy laws are much stricter than US laws.
