I've listed a CD of music from drum & bugle corps from 20 years ago, released from a defunct record maker. I'm getting constant emails from people, one person in particular, saying that I have no right selling that, you weren't even a member (how do they know?) of the corps on the CD, your item is offensive...it's just constant. Is that considered infringment? Or is there such a thing as auction harrasment?

So was it a legitimate commercial CD or a CDR you made yourself?
If it's a store-bought, legitimate commercial CD, then you can do anything you want with it.
If you made it yourself, then the other person is right- you have no legal right to be making copies. SOMEONE owns the copyright to that music. The defunct music company is NOT a defense or excuse. The copyright still exists and is owned by someone.
The part about you being a member of the corps is totally irrelevant.

I wonder if there isn't a competitor in the woodpile someplace reporting the auction to ebqay and emailing you with harasing letters? They are probably emailing you because ebay rarely acts on rule infractions anymore.

I agree, it depends. If it is something commercially purchased, I would just block them completely. If it is something you made copies of, they are probably right.
