Does anyone know a good definition of 'cold cast'
What I have, I am not sure it is, if it is, its porcelain, not resin. Its really detailed, and heavy. It looks either marblized or carved out of alabaster, but I know its not alabaster, and I don't think its carved.
So I was thinking of cold cast, and had heard the term, but really do not know exactly what it means
Thanks in advance

glassgrl, I did a search on ebay and came up with 'Cold Cast on Porcelain'
course, how would I know if it was bronze?
I'll try to post a pic...........
Cuz I have no idea as to what to title it, crappy pics, if they work because I didn't get the coloring, which looks like polished stone, or marble
ok trying again...........
AND AGAIN!!! argh

Cold cast is resin, with powder added- bronze powder, or powdered porcelain or pulverized marble- anything that would be considered precious in its original state will be found mixed with resin and called cold cast whatever...

Cold cast is very heavy- the fillings weigh a lot. If it looks a little like marble, it probably is stone powders, swirled together to make a marbled finish
