This question is really for neglus I think. On another thread, I read your comments about spare dollar so went to their site. I am a pretty low volumne seller so it might be good for me. I don't use the end of auction management service from vendio as I do my own. I do use and love the SMPro for inventory and listing off-line. Before I used it, I'd be composing auctions on-line and then get kicked off and boy, lost work!! Anyway, does spare dollar have a downloadable program like SMPro? I tried to write to them direct but it appears I would have to register first and I'm not ready to do that yet.
Any other opinions would be welcome. Many thanks.

Tom is the Spare Dollar expert! I don't use the VD Sales Manager Pro because synching my 4600 images seems like too much of a hassle ... the one thing I can reiterate is that Tomas offers marvelous customer service!

Why not try composing your auctions off-line and then cutting and pasting them into the online program? That's what I do. I compose several at a time. That way, there is no hurry and there is less chance for error.

Cheryl: I tried that one time, but Microsoft Word apparently uses some letters that don't switch over very well. I wound up with little boxes and funny symbols in place of some things. I just couldn't seem to remember to use inches instead of ".

It seems to me that I did use Word to copy and paste in Spare Dollar without problems ( this was last winter so I don't remember exactly)..not because of getting kicked off line but because it didn't have the capability to save as much "boiler plate" (ie: TOS) info as Vendio

Thanks so much for all the comments. I may try them. Have to figure out composing auctions in word and moving them over. You folks are great!

When certain words or symbols in MS WORD result in $#& type characters then you can determine which symbols or words are causing the gibberish translation and avoid using them. When ebay went to the current page layout that problem was compounded even more.
