Sure hope the bidders read ALL the description. Even if they did read it all that is a hefty price for whatever they think they are bidding on. Thanks for sharing this one paloma91!

Check the bid history. The two bidders who ran the price up are both zero feedback and both registered the same day. Looks fishy to me.

It's really fishy! Plus they bid just $10 dollars apart on their bids with an insane amount? That is just too much of a coincidence.

The bidders are probably ebay vigilantes. It use to happen all the time on ebay years ago. If an ebayer saw a scheme or scam they'd take a throw away account or even two and get in a bidding war over the auction. The scaming seller would not be able to sell the auction item to a sucker and instead had to try to tell ebay the bidders were bogus on his bogus auction to not be charged the FVF.

The question is, should these two bidders be lined up in front of a firing squad, or should they be given public service awards?

FVF will be around $240 - Of course, he will get it back, but he may have to pay it before he gets it back, it does take at least 17 days to get a fvf back? Serves him right for trying to sell that.
