Okay - I've admitted a weakness in identifying flowers in the past, so this won't come as a surprise to many.

Can you put your finger on the type of flower pictured here?



Any help would be much appreciated.

These damn peony flowers will be the end of me! I had another item that had one on it and couldn't figure it out either!

I agree with Sanmar - peonies have multiple petals. I does look like a poppy. Sometimes those ceramics artists made up their own flowers, too!

Looks like a California Poppy to me also, have lots in my garden, and they look just like that.

Poppy it is. Today I went to work at the garden center. There doing cashier work we do have to price items also. and today we priced the poppies. Looks just like this one.
