I was speaking to another Ebay part time stamp dealer and he said his auctions had been slow also lately and he won't list again till next week. Anyone else having the same problem?
I have noticed that stamp sales are good for me from Sept -Dec and ok in January.
How about you?

I don't sell stamps but if you look I think that there are quite a few local and regional stamp shows in winter times, at least in our area, and maybe they are getting what they want there. I know a stamp seller, not on eBay, that does really good and all he does is advertise in some periodical.

Thanks for the info but I know of the local New Jersey stamps shows (I live in Staten Island) and I will be doing some in teh spring -- winter driving conditions because of snow can be bad this time of year.
If your friend the stamp dealer is in need of any material have him contact me at [email protected]

djs, seems to me February is a little slower than January. But again, I surmize it's what you are listing and may also have alot to do with payperiod weeks.

Stamps sales are 90% of what I sell and I am not listing. The prices realized are quite good over the past few days (actually ridiculously high), but most are from people with 1 or 0 feedback. I had three with minimal feedback and the total was $130 and I was stiffed. So I stopped selling.
