Employing his infamous, yet strangely endearing Bruce Lee/John Saxon/Fred Williamson impersonations, Ralphie snatched this beautiful 12.5" x 9" platter right out of the Taoist Monk's hands...
No chips, but there is a 2" scratch in the center...

Yup, she sure do have a day job. But, since this business is 1/3 mine (evidenced by the paltry paycheck every two weeks), I'm the boss of me. And I'll darn well play when I want to, dang it.
Tom, I don't know anything about this particular company. The platter looks like 1930's or 1940's judging by the color and style. I would definately list it. I may come along and snatch it right up. It would look great with my Johnson Brother's vintage white dinnerware. Plain white is sooooo boring. Looks like the design was stenciled and the flowers then hand colored. I wouldn't worry about the scratch in the middle. This was a piece that was meant to be used and was probably part of a set at one time.

Ralpie sniffs again! Good Boy!!
Well, I thought the pattern was known as Orange Blossom but I didn't find it on a quick ebay search. I do know it is collectible. I've had several pieces of it that sold well.

Hi Tom..... I almost called you Tommy Tutone
I have three Made in Japan books with marks but couldn't find the turtle one. But I did find this piece with the same mark and the seller had written the author of the books about it.
