Hi, Was wondering if you all could tell me if this is possible. I had a buyer purchase a Buy It Now from me and long story short he never paid (he said he sent me emails, which he did and I answered each and every one and told him how to pay). Sent a NPBA. A few days later he left me negative feedback and so I left negative for him alerting sellers he was a non payer (nothing bad or mean, just the fact). I filed a fvf w/ebay the other day and he sent me a very nasty letter. The gist of it said he was going to alert non-suspecting customers to not purchase from me etc. (and alot worst things as well). My concern is can he actually post anything anywhere about me? Since then I haven't had bidders on my auctions (may be coincidental). Thanks for your input.

Forward his threatening Email to safeharbor.

It's called auction interference and it's against Ebay rules.

Do it!

Hello,
sounds like you might want to look your post sales process. Mine goes something like this.

Sale closes send invoice.
No response? send second invoice(Not through Ebay. See below) in about 10-14 days.

No response: file for fees back with ebay in about three weeks. (Most slow payers pay at this point).

10 days later file with ebay for funds back

Three of the above and buyer is toast.

Though you did not first issuing a negative, those that do,just get one back which hurts them a heck of a lot more than some occasional buyer with multi ID's

With buyers who many now have Spam blockers it is possible to not get invoices from ebay.

Post sales process does more sellers in than any area except acceptable stock sources.
Have a nice day.
David
