Does anyone know how one gets "umlauts" from an American keyboard? (no - not a venereal disease! They are the two dots on top of the letter "u" in German.) As an alternative, can someone type a capital "u" with umlauts so I can copy and paste? TYVM Vielen danke..etc etc

Oy! Ralphie used to scratch his umlauts all day long...
CNBC: "Unless the economy adds at least 2.3 million jobs by the end of the year, Bush will go down as the first president since Hoover to preside over a four-year term in which total employment fell."

The character map can be found when you go to accessories, then system tools. You can choose the font you are using and the map will come up with the keystrokes you need. If you are using Ariel- to obtain an Ü you need to use alt 0220. For lower case it is alt 0252 = ü.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
You read about all these terrorists --- most of them came here legally, but
they hung around on these expired visas, some for as long as 10 -15 years.
Now, compare that to Blockbuster; you are two days late with a video and
those people are all over you. Let's put Blockbuster in charge of
immigration.
