Yeah Jack, I know what you mean. I had some very old china listed as "in MINT condition" The question was, "Are there any cracks or chips" Not being able to see the person, I don't what color the hair was.

I state in all my book auctions that Media Mail shipping in the U.S. will be $______ (varies from book to book, of course.

I get questions: Do you ever ship Media Mail? Would you consider it for this book? Etc.

I just answer politely (after checking to be sure I put it in that auction); they can't help it if they're skimmers and scanners, I guess.

Just e-mail them back.....thank them for their interest...and tell them that it is in perfect condition.....period....resist the urge to point out how stupid the question is. Then have a glass or 2 of 2 buck chuck. This numbskull will probably turn out to be your winning bidder.

I had one today from an international buyer, who emailed 3 times before the auction was over (thinking that he had won)!
So today, 3 days after the auction end & 3 PayPal invoices & WBN's to him, I get the response that he is sending International Money Order!

Just one problem! My ad reads:
"INTERNATIONAL PAYMENT OPTIONS: Only International Payments accepted are PayPal or BidPay. NO INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS" - so of course I had to send another email!

You are right - about people not reading the ads.
