I sold a cup and saucer to Singapore, and this is the reply I received.
"I will need the total cost to be T/T
to you or send by Telegraphic Transfer."
I have no idea what that is, can anyone help please?

amber, I am guessing they are trying to say they want totals for shipping and that they want to pay by either a credit card or a bank to bank money transfer. Good Luck

sounds like western union to me....but I guess it's bank to bank:
A Telegraphic Transfer uses authenticated message sent electronically to another Branch or a correspondent bank, instructing it to pay your beneficiary a specified sum of money.

Thanks, I am very reluctant to send out any of my bank information for Singapore, or other International destinations. I have told him/her that Bidpay is the best, or failing that, cash.

amber, The next time you go to your bank talk to an officer there about bank to bank money transfers. I think you will find it safe. Also remember international customers do not have as many credit cards as Americans. They just don't use credit cards as much as the Americans do.
