some ebay sellers have seen bidders from russia claiming they are in british virgin island and other friendly places.
if you have pricey items, check the location of your bidder, and pull the contact information to find out how they register with ebay.
if they dont make sense to you, cancel their bids and block them from bidding on your auction.

Yes - because pulling the contact info of everyone of your bidders is sure to curry favor with them.
Any seller that pulls my contact info because of a bid on an open auction can expect a no-questions-asked immediate cancelation of my bid.

I thought you could only get the contact info, after the transaction has been completed. I know you have to submit the item number of the transaction that involve you both as buyer ansd seller. I was not aware this could be given out before auction end.

So, are you saying that Russia is not a friendly place? I thought the cold war was over. You know, they are helping us rebuild Iraq and I think that should count for something.

1) you can pull contact information on your bidder before auction ends, try it.
2) i am saying pull some bidder, not ALL bidders,if his location is outside usa and his feedback is zero.
3) they are continuing cold war on ebay.
i dont really know what they are trying to accomplish,by now most sellers are not going to ship until they get paid.and sellers decide how he wants to be paid.

Jack - despite the butchered pronunciation that most Americans use, the correct spelling is Tijuana and the only a sound is at the end.
Don't feel bad though - one of my favorite episodes of The West Wing also containns my biggest pet peave moment. LEo is explaining to the President that the CHinese imigrant that were smuggled in inside a cargo container are being held at the INS detention center in Otay Mesa which he pronounces with a hard A at the end when in reality it is prounnced with a hard I. The place is a two hour drive from where they shoot and no one knows how to pronounce it?
Anyone want to guess on the pronunciation of Oaxaca?
