Hi everyone! I havn't been around much, been busy getting my day job off the ground. I recently got back to selling things and ended up with an unwanted buyer.
A "gentleman" from Canada bids and wins, of course, I don't ship out of the states (ben burned too many times). I let him know this and offer to ship to a US drop or refund the money. Ends up, I refund then I get an email where he is ticked that I refunded rather than filling out his request for payment. Because I refunded, he threatens to leave a neg. Further on, he accuses me of wanting more money for the item and that's why I won't sell (I just wanted it gone!) so he again threatens to leave a neg.
Now, I don't really caer about the neg, the positive feedback I have outweighes it. But if he does leave one, is his (vulgar) email grounds for feedback extorsion and would eBay possibly remove it? I figure I shoud use the system if its there right?

clive, you might get the neg removed if you open a case with square trade and pay them. You didn't say if you listed U.S. sales only in you auction. If you didn't I don't think you have much of a leg to stand on.

It's listed in the header that I will only ship to the US. I'd rather not have to pay, a neg won't bother me THAT much!

Keep the emails with the threats. He's threatening you if you don't break your tos and sell out of the U.S. That's feedback extortion and you have a good chance of getting it removed under Ebay's removal policy.
