Maybe you should clarify the question. If you mean, when does the delivery confirmation number show up, the answer is as soon as you send it to your checkout box.

what is a checkbox??
jack,we are talking about USPS,not UPS.have a cup of coffee,it will be on me.
what i mean is that once the DC is scanned at the post office(s),when does it show up on the online system which we have access to.

The checkout box is where your label is sent once you have made it. Then you can either go back and make another, save it to print at a different time, or checkout and print all the labels in check out.

At one time the scan at the Post Office when the item was mailed was immediately viewable online. Now it only shows when it was supposedly delivered.

Sorry, I love using the online free DC so much that I forgot about the stickers that cost money as you waste time standing in line at the P.O.
Damm the internet is wonderful.

i use the dc sticker all the time and i dont stand in line at post office to have it stamped.
it does not matter if it is stamped or not.it does not buy you anything, think of it.

I use "click & ship" through PayPal. Works great & the DC ususally comes up in about 3 hrs. I don't really care until at least 2 days have elapsed.

Stop - the stamp gives you a physical receipt confirming the shipment. The reason many get the stamp is also that the process also inncludes the scanning of the DC form. How many times have we heard people here complaining that the DC packages they just drop off at the post office were not scanned... this eliminates that problem.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
