Hi Everyone!

I'll try to keep this brief; I'm sure the answers are here somewhere, but I've been reading and frankly, my brain is a bit fried!

Before I upload any new auctions via SMPro (I have, I believe, successfully imported all of our pending auctions, although we show 63 listings, and Vendio is only showing 50 - is that due to some of our listings being store listings and not all auctions?), I need to get a couple questions answered re: checkout.

First, I went through and edited the auto WBN, etc., emails last night, and chose to use the Vendio checkout system (although did not include the Vendio links in our auctions, as we are not opposed to having PayPal payments sent too; we've elected to have Vendio notify us if PayPal payments are made; figure we don't want to make things difficult for our customers!, but if anyone has experiences with this, please share!), mainly because, frankly, I couldn't see a way to have the calculations for combined purchases made any other way with WBN's without using the Vendio checkout. Also, we want to ensure that our inventory, once we upload it all, is tracked correctly; we're assuming that using the checkout feature will keep track - is that correct?

I wanted to test the WBN/checkout first myself, before a "real" customer did (we have some pending sales out there), so did a BIN from our store using my personal eBay account, but DID NOT elect to Pay Now. However, I did so about two hours ago, and have yet to receive a WBN. (It does show up as sold in the store, however). Consequently, I went through the link on the Vendio Checkout FAQ (although certainly a customer would not do so), and my information was not recognized.

So, my questions are this (obviously I'm not brief!): How long does it take to receive a WBN; and is this typical (i.e., the errors)?

Any help would be appreciated - I'm sure there will be more questions to come; since things are starting to work well with our store, I don't want to get things messed up right off the bat by switching to Vendio - it looks like a wonderful system!!!

Thanks so much!

Renee

Go to the left and click on "Active" and you will see page by page of your listings.
Under "Sales Manager" you will only see 50, and you will also see your Pending and Closed.

Hi again!

I just checked the pending folder, and there's nothing there, as I haven't uploaded anything (I want to make sure I have the bugs worked out first!). But thanks to your response, I DID figure out the issue with the 63/50 difference (albeit I have no idea how to fix it!!); the problem is that only one of the store items imported. Anyone have any idea how to fix that particular issue?

Thanks again! If this is the kind of caring community I can expect from everyone involved with Vendio, I know we've made the right choice!!

No, they weren't there. HOWEVER, I emailed through the SMPro forum, and one of Vendio's support team corrected that particular issue. Now, if I can get assistance on the other issues I emailed about in this forum, I'll be doing great!!

Thank you so much for your assistance, Niel (assuming that's your name!); I appreciate it!!

My experience on the Venio EOA notices is that for auctions they are sent fairly quickly. For store items, they do take a little longer. Most of the time it is later the same day - a few times it has been the next day or perhaps two days later.

I don't use inventory, so can't help you there. And for combined shipping, I use eBay's invoice. Up until today, I would given rave reviews on the latter

edited to add - EOA = WBN

You are in the wrong chat room. Go to the Vendio chat rooms. They can answer your questions.
