I make my terms very clear on all of my auctions.
To bad buyers don't read them, and then they want to get mad and blame me for their mistake !!!!!

Stated in auction All payments to be received within 10 days of the closing date of auction..Upon/After 15 days, a $3.00 late fee applies

I offer 3 different ways to pay by credit card
I offer paypal { instant transfer, echeck or paypal balance } I state no credit cards or bank cards by paypal
personal check, money order, cashiers check, cash.
Plenty of ways to pay.

I get this email today, guy paid 28 days late.
Good for a laugh......LOL....Ha Ha

Wow,

I guess I overlooked that portion, I didn’t know this was a Blockbuster or a Public Library. I will pay your ridiculous $3 “late” fee. I was a bit delayed in paying for this auction because of the No payment via PAYPAL by credit card, only by bank. I only pay things via PAYPAL. I don’t bank where I live because I am military so it’s not like I can hop in my car and fix it that quickly. I’m not even sure it’s legal to charge a “late” fee on EBAY regardless of your auction terms. I will look into this further, until then enjoy your extra $3 and buy a Happy Meal. Have a nice day

Like it is my problem because you don't care to read the auction terms...I guess he would get bent out of shape if he didn't pay his credit card payment on time and got charged a late fee or any other bill he has...
My rant for the week...

I wouldn't pay the $3, you'd ship or we'd exchange negs...

I wouldn't pay the $3 either, but you have a right to ask for it & it's not a bad idea if you can get it.

What would you do if payment was sent late & didn't include the 3.00 penalty.
Ship, yes or no.

Military mail can take up to a month to arrive.

I think a $3 late fee would drive most bidders to a frenzy!

Just file & move on...

Jack,
He did not have a APO....FPO address, he is in Anchorage AK

Twelvepole & mcjane,
I guess we would exchange Negs, as you did not follow the terms of my auctions.{Thats if you paid late}paid 28 days late like this guy did.

What would you do if payment was sent late & didn't include the 3.00 penalty.
Ship, yes or no.

No I would not ship as payment as not been made in full according to the terms in the listing ad.
Just as this guy did, he sent payment minus the $3.00, He was late in paying, paid 28 days late.

He did pay the $3.00 and I will ship the item today.

It is written clearly on all of my auctions, if you place a bid, you are agreeing with my terms.
Don't like the terms Don't bid.

If you go to a live auction, they give you 7 days to pick up the item, items. If you do not, you will pay a $5.00 storage late fee for every day for every item you have not picked up.
