Can anyone recommend a shipper for large items such as Furniture etc. Too big for USPS or UPS? I would like to have someone come pick it up and crate it and ship it for me.

Thanks for the link. They are the only one that I already knew about but I hear they are really high?
DHL will pick up etc but you have to do your own crating.

call around to your local pack and ship places. I saw one of my local ones offered a crating service. they might at least point you in the right direction to look.

You might want to check freightquote.com --will give you quotes from a number of different shippers, and whenever you ask for a quote, they always call to follow up, make sure everything was entered correctly, ask if you need any help--very nice people.

Go to one of the Van Lines. Craters etc. are not in this area. I shipped an antique dresser that has been in the family for 150 yrs. to my son in IL. I had 2 neighbor guys brate it & was picked up & shipped for about $500.00.
