I sold a plate in March, shipped it on April 1. It was delivered on April 3rd and the buyer left positive feedback.
Yesterday, he emailed me asking for the green insurance slip, because the post office had crushed the box and the plate.
This seems odd to me. What do you think?
So far, I've e-mailed that I was sorry about his loss - but asked him if he was sure he had contacted the right seller, since he had left me positive feedback the same day his plate was delivered. No reply yet.
(I do have the insurance slip - that's not a problem.)

This sounds too familiar. I have had this happen at least twice in the past year. I will not do anything until they take the package with all of the packing & the broken piece to the PO fo claim. I will not be crapped on by a scam artist.

Well I'll never know for sure if it was an attempted scam. But he wrote back to apologize and say he sent the e-mail to the wrong seller.

That was nice. He wrote you to let you know he'd made a mistake. Better than being left hanging not knowing what had happened.
