Boy! Ebay's really screwed me now!
Look's like I'll probably have to stop selling on this site...after 5 years!!!
I can't even contact my buyers now. Looks as if Ebay's changed their format on "contacting the buyer".
I used to be able to just click on the "contact the buyer" link to send the winners an email and now I can't.
All's that pops up when I click on this link is this stupid "message" that I can type out to the buyer.
One small problem with that though.
When I click on the link "contact the buyer" I need to open up an entire new browser to view the auction that they have won and then jockey back and forth between the two to complete my invoice.

hi ....just click on the address hyperlink on that spot and write the email to the person, it does not go through eBay that way - direct email from you to the buyer

You should still have the email address of the buyer in your End of Auction/ Transaction notification from ebay. At least mine still did when I went and looked.

or send an ebay invoice through My Ebay "sold" section. Very easily done (right click on "send invoice" so you don't have to keep hitting the back button) and all the vital information is completed - just add a personal message.

I just did a test with an old auction of mine from last month. It opened up a page to contact the buyer thru ebay; however, it also shows their full email address - and when u click on that link, you can send an email directly to the buyer.

If you've signed in with Ebay, there should be an e-mail address as well as user name of your buyer in the e-mail Ebay sends you when an auction has ended. I just click on that. But you have to be signed in to Ebay first (I learned the hard way).

There should be an "action" column in your MY EBAY "sold" section and if the buyer has not completed checkout or paid you should have a button that says "Send invoice". I send invoices every night or early morning after auctions end.
You can customize the "SOLD" section of "My Ebay" to display email addresses or user names ("Customize" link is in upper right corner). If you select email address you get a clickable link to email the buyers through ebay (but you run into the having to have two screens up issues)..sending ebay invoices works very smoothly for me anyway.
