Can you tell me what your bank account information is so that I can money transfer/wire it to you?
5+ years selling on ebay, and this is only the second time I've been asked this. It wouldn't be so odd if I had only received this from one person, but I received it from 3 different winning bidders!!!
Odd that they couldn't read my auction rules that very clearly explain the methods that I accept for payment. It doesn't matter how clear I make it, whether I use all capital letters to explain it, or if I posted it in neon letters across their forhead... they will still ask me to accept a method of payment that I do not accept, or tell me to ship it to a non-confirmed address even though it clearly states I do not ship to alternate addresses. On and on and on...

Hey, Rusty, can you send the information to me, too? I could really use the cash. LOL!

Rusty-are these bidders from Europe?
I had this happen about 6 months ago.Evidently its a common practice in
Europe to exchange bank account numbers.I think it was posted on here that when you exchange bank account numbers, you can deposit but not withdraw money from the other persons account.I guess its safe because they do it in Europe all the time, but I would still feel funny about it.
You do the same thing every time you hand someone a personal check. Some even include their Driver's License # on their checks -- and some I've seen have their SS# on them...

Here's mine: Can you please send me copies of all your research information with my item?
Ah, no. At least three different books are involved along with a live human being giving me advice. It would cost too much money to send this person half way across the country. Not that he wouldn't love to go. There was also Internet research. The links I can provide this person, but the research is now on the buyer. Can you spell L-i-b-r-a-r-y?
