What are folks' thoughts about this service? Is the cost of the ST seal worth the charge? I have heard mixed opinions. The consensus that I have heard is that it helps with new bidders, but otherwise is a waste of money.
Thanks,
Chris

They take your $20 bucks and you in reality don't get much in return. Save your cash, if you get a neg, simply respond and move on. In my experience, when I have received a retalitory neg, it has only helped increase my sales.
Also you will find most of ebay's whistles and bells aren't really worth a hill of beans.

But, since we also have multiple web sites, membership in any type of organization/watch dog group, like SquareTrade, etc., make customers feel more secure & comfortable, even if SquareTrade doesn't directly relate to the web site.
Bottom line, it is just another eBay fee gathering system. IF, the buyer gets what they want then they settle, and you can get a negative removed - but if the buyer doesn’t get exactly what they want, then you are just left out to dry. It is a legal blackmail system for buyers.
