Yesterday, I had a man Buy It Now on 6 auctions. He went through the checkout and indicated that he would pay with PayPal, but didn't. He then e-mailed asking if I had the item in another size and if so he would like some. I naturally thought that he was waiting for my reply before paying. About an our later I get an e-mail from eBay that the bids has been retracted or canceled and to see the auction for details. When I checked the bidder was NARU'd. He had good feedback and has been on eBay for a while. From what I could tell he mostly dealt with eBay Motors, selling and buying. I wondered what had happened, but didn't think to much of it.

I then went on to leave a bunch of feedback. I left two for one buyer and later on last night he left feedback for me. I looked at my feedback this morning and this buyer has been NARU'd. Again, he has good feedback and has been on eBay for a while.

Have any of you noticed anything like this? Or are buyers getting the boot after they buy from me?

Debbie

I have noticed that also.

I think what is happening is more and more sellers are filing for their FVF and just skipping the feedback process. The buyers who aren't paying don't see any negatives from the sellers, and probably think that since they didn't get a negative, things are A-OK. I am sure some buyers think that negatives for non-payment and warnings are one in the same; and if they don't get the negative then they don't get a strike (in their mind).

This is just my opinion

Debbie -- I had a customer that didn't pay me for 3 items. I filed for FVF and left negative feedback. Every now and then I would check her feedback to find out if she was still bidding alot and if there were other sellers that weren't getting paid. Sure enough, not more than a few weeks later she was naru'd. I was the only one to leave her negative feedback.

Bizzy; Negs won't get you a NARU, 3 NPB's in 30 days will do it. Don't have to give a neg.
