How do you report a seller for using HIDDEN key word spamming?
There's no place on ebay's form to say it's hidden. Does ebay automatically look for it when it's reported?

Thanks for the links but I've done those and only get the form email.
I want to tell ebay it's hidden and you can't do that with their form only give item numbers.
I first sent in my complaint last Friday and seller still has hidden key words, a whole dictionary of them. I know it may sound petty but it is very annoying to search and get many auctions that have nothing to do with what I want.
Yes, jacksweb, if you get an odd auction in your search just click and drag on open areas and the words come up. Some may be over to the right and hard to see.
I would never bid on their auctions anyway because I think sellers who use hidden key words announce they are crooks right off the bat!

jack:
FROM my earlier post, where i listed the url for the auction with keyword spam...
here are two c/paste out of the auction...[1] is the title, and [2] is from description...
all i was asking was why should a seller resort to of all kinds of hidden words when they can more easily get away with this????
--------------------
TITLE
[1]1900-05 GLOBE WERNICKE TYPE ORIGINAL DANNER BOOKCASE
FROM DESCRIPTION
[2]Yes, we had Globe Wernicke type only merely for search purposes

Good question.
I am searching for a Dooney Bourke or Coach...or even a signature bag.
It's amazing the absolute gall of some sellers.
Not merely the fell-off-the-back-of-the-truck knock offs, but not even remotely related purses!
I don't even add crescent or hobo to my search, it's pointless.
One seller is selling CD's and spams with maker/designer names. His fees must be extraordinary, piles on the listing, so what is ebay's incentive to police this crap?
The good sellers must be livid.

myoldtoy: here is one of that seller's listings with the 'hidden keyword spamming' ...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=551&item=3742509132&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
If you left click and 'highlight' the white plain looking box area, that is where the words are all hidden.
edited to add, seems most of his listings all have those hidden keywords.

I see it, Right under the pic of the backside of the print showing the hanging bracket. Wow, but I think that it would only work if you did a search by both title and description, right??

I clicked on the jimi hendrix auction and there is keyword spamming at more than one place in the white area. In the above area there are come and in the lower area there are different ones. That auction is full of key word spamming.

Nah, you are a better person than that!!
Two wrongs don't make a right. (Though two rights do make a left..)
It is VERY annoying that eBay has made it impossible to report those sellers who hide keywords by using the same font color as their background, but you don't really want to stoop to their level.
It is seriously doubtful that it improves sales, and it really irritates potential buyers.
If you can't beat 'em, rise above 'em.
