Just for fun I used the WaybackMachine and found an old ebay home page that was updated 01/16/99 and you can see how relatively simple it was compared to today.

It shows the number of items for sale back then. The picture gifs no longer show up but here it is in case anyone wants to compare it to now.

Yeah it's a bit different now, isn't it.
I've been trying to figure out the "new NPB" system for 30 minutes now!!! Think they just don't want me to have that $3.00 back???
But we have had some improvement too. No negatives from someone who didn't even win you auction.
Neat site kiara - can you pull up your own old ebay records there?

I loved Ebay back then!

Of course, I still do when it is working right and they aren't busy changing everything I love...like categories in books and music

I really do hate the prefilled, and the Item specifics way of browsing.
