As much as it helps to emotionally unload by denigrating Meg and her coterie, She has to have abilities to be where she is and not be removed. eBay suffers from more than lack of clarity of vision, it doesn't have a vision. Watching eBay fumbling along is reminiscent of seeing a promising teen-ager succumb to drugs, or a bright stroke victim dealing with those really bizarre comprehension problems. Guys, how about the dilution in the NFL to avoid dominance? That was done systematically with an agenda.
Why is eBay being dumbed down and foundering? Why are obvious holes in the dike going unchecked? This is not like an engineering job going sproing and coming undone due a flaw. eBay is a concept that can be altered. What agenda, government arrangement, or dastardly plot is responsible for the laughable mis-steps and un-resolved issues? Why is the laize faire free market excitement of the eBay paradigm being allowed to deflate into obscurity? Communicating with the powers that be at eBay is like trying to get facts from the U.S. government about Roswell, why is that?
I could do a better job than Meg, but, wait, I haven't seen the job description. Maybe Meg is doing just great, we are assuming what her game assignment might be. So, allegorically, maybe our preconceptions are making an ass of u and me. What is the rest of the story?

lol classic! That was a cute one!
parklane: {Didnt you post here by another name, btw? ) - I saw Meg in an interview on TV. She said they really did not have any idea Ebay was going to turn into the phenomenon that it has become. I think they are trying to get a handle on it, but it's like it just keeps morphing out on its own [not withstanding the things they implement that arent so great, but] - there are so many users...so many products....how does one company manage all that, at all times with precise efficiency? - It seems an almost impossible task to me when you think about it.
