Does anyone recognize this watchmaker? It's says PA (some sort of logo before it). LADY Deluxe is stamped on the back. I don't have to tell you when I do a google on PA Lady Deluxe I spend a lot of time in Pennsylvania. LOL! I'm guessing 1950's because that's probably around the time my grandfather could have afforded to buy my grandmother a watch. 1940's maybe. The stones are quite dirty, but I am assuming they are rhinestones.
You know, the Internet used to be a fun place to do research. Anymore it is so big it takes hours just to locate relevant information. Like I said in my hallmark post, my eyes are bugged out. I am a sight. Of course, after a couple more cups of high powered Star Buck's coffee, I should be good to go...and go, and go...

LOL! That's not the real time. The thing ticks but doesn't keep time. I think it's in desperate need of cleaning. However, I'm not attempting to remove the back. I know what happens when I take anything apart. LOL, I can't even get a removed screw to go in straight. I've learned that lesson the hard way.

I will have it checked. I think they're rhinestones because my mother got my grandmother's diamonds! She had tons of them. Once they made it through the depression and my grandfather "hit the big time", he spared no expense on her. I guess he wanted to make up for her having to work through the depression as well since most women didn't work at the time. What a guy! Hmmm. . .oh, honey. . . . LOL! Like that would ever happen here.
