This is a small problem, but annoying. A couple of weeks ago, some of my Internet Explorer Settings changed, so I have a program where I can restore them. Since then, every time I try to go on my bookmarked "my eBay" I have to type in my user name and password. It used to come right up, and still does on my husband laptop. I check the box saying "stay signed in", I don't turn off the computer, but every time I have to sign in again. Can someone tell me how to correct it please? I check many times a day!!

It sounds as if your IE settings are not allowing cookies. If you want to change this (which I don't recommend), go into Tools, Internet Options, Privacy, Edit and type in http://www.ebay.com then press Allow. If you want to allow cookies from all sights, click on Advanced instead of Edit.

Personally, I don't allow the cookies from eBay and prefer to type in the information manually.

Actually, I think it's just feeBay trying out some more security stunts -- part of their SEIVE TECHNOLOGY program...

I've noticed that over the past 1 month, I've had to log back in much more frequently than before

Thanks, I thought I must have altered something, because on the laptop it goes straight through to my eBay every time, and I don't have to sign in.
