It does look nice, but personally too many whistles and bells. What they really need to do is to come up with a home page that will actually download in a reasonable time.

Someone here recently said Ebay had changed the word "search" to "buy." I still see the Search button on the new home page. Wonder where the change has been made.

Download in a reasonable time? If you're still using dial-up, you don't need to be on he internet.

There are still people using dial-up?

I wonder if there has ever been a study comparing the people most likely to be NPB's with those still on dial-up?

No money or don't spend enough time online to keep up with their e-amil?

Yes, there are some of us dinosaurs left, using dial-up. No problems. Two computer users, two phone lines. Maybe someday. . . .

No roadsmith. It said that the change was in the making for the future "buy" page.

That "improvement" is going go be in a new "buy hub" that eBay is developing, according to the other posts.

I wonder when they will start charging for the number of searches a person makes!

Not everyone has Wifi access.
I do, but hardwiring cable and sending the signal isn't easy in every burg.
Plus the cost. I have a friend who lives too far off the system in Duvall, WA, she's a MS employee and uses dial up at home. But...those twenty pristine horse acres are worth it!
They need to get the "feature items" off the front page, it's usually junk anyhow.
I like it's portal look, 'bout time ebay, I ignore the front page, it's useless. Maybe this will be more useful.
