Hi, guys: I have some dishes in the first pattern (9" plate) and some in the second (8" soup bowl). Both designs have the same marks. Any clues as to the pattern name?

I'm bumping this one more time in hopes someone can help. Even the names of the flowers would help at this point!

I have sold Haviland Limoges in the past. There are some many variations of this pattern. All are dainty pink roses with greenery and that is how I describe it. Of course put Haviland and Limoges in the listings. also gold trim if applicable. Hand painted. you might send a pic to Replacements for ID

About all I can tell you, Roadsmith, is that I have a plate that closely resembles the first one you show. It was my grandmother's and since I never intend to part with it, I've never looked it up. So, I can say it's old. Not much help, I know.

Alot of Limoges was sold as blanks to "crafters-painters" who took pride in their unique table settings, vases, tea pots or whatever they decided to paint. You may have a set of dishes painted by somebody's great great aunt, with no actual pattern name.

Thanks, everybody. Well, we tried!
Max: Would that apply also to plates that have both the Limoges and Haviland marks on them? Just wondering. I have a couple dozen hand-painted Limoges plates my husband's grandmother painted around 1900 but none of them have another mark for Haviland on them.

Roadsmith. Can't answer that question. I really don't know if Haviland sold blanks with their name on them. Several other Limoge factories did though.
