I am thinking about using the USPS Click-N-Ship service now that insurance can be purchased online.
What kind of labels are used here? Do i need to buy avery labels? what do you use?

You dont need labels-you can print them on plain paper if you wish-but then you have to tape the paper on the box. However I do use
labels from LabelUniverse.com-I think I got them from the usps.com webstite. They have a stickum on one side so all you have to do is lay it on-quite easy.

I went to order 250 and they want about 15.00 for shipping. I think the local stationery store might be better

Office Depot has sheet labels that are adhsive backed I buy a box of 100 for $22.00, They are 8 1/2 X 11 in. so you can print the postage & DC on one sheet. The number is 612-075 & they are the same soze as Avery 5165 & cost less than the Avery. I use P/P for all of the eBay sales as I don't have to show the amount for postage.

I've been printing my own labels for a while now, but print on plain paper and completely seal it onto the package with tape. The ink I use runs horribly, and I'm sure it wouldn't withstand any mist or rain. This way it takes a few moments to tape it down and seal it, but I feel better about it arriving legible.
And I don't have to pay for stick-um labels.

They only come in the one size..... but, the 2nd label prints your receipt.
