Hi, jewelry experts. I'm trying to find any info on B. Blumenthal. I'm selling a pretty dress clip, leaf-shaped, no bids yet and I've tried to get any information on this seller. It was my mother's, acquired in the 20s or 30s.
I searched two or three websites on jewelry with no luck; google only brought up one piece of jewelry by B. Blumenthal with no background info on the maker.
This auction ends Sunday night, so if you have anything on this maker, I'd sure appreciate it. In retrospect, I should have waited until I knew more about the maker to even launch the auction!

Hi Roadsmith
If you enter B. Blumenthal jewelry in google search you will find many links.
The very first one has the history of the mark. It looks to be a good site for marks and even though I have it in my favorites I'd forgotten all about it so thanks!

Thanks, Kiara! I had googled but didn't see this site. So, if he started the co. in 1877 and only produced jewelry for a few years, I suppose this clip would be even older than I was estimating! Appreciate your help.
