Does anybody know what this could mean? I've looked and looked at my auction and can't figure out what could be wrong with my listing. Help!

Is it a relist or a copy of a pottery or glass auction that was previously listed?

Sparkz: It's a relist, and after trying several times to relist it, I gave up. I'll rewrite the auction sometime in the future and try again! Weird, huh.

Hi people,

I had the same problem on a Noritake item. Errored out three times. I finally gave up and listed it tonight in a non-Noritake category.

It launched successfully. Then I revised the category. This might be the best way to go.

I had the same problem when trying to relist pottery that had originally been listed during the item specifics fiasco. Since the old categories and item specifics no longer exist, it results in an error. I finally scheduled a couple to relist. I then unscheduled them and went into edit. I selected a category from the current list and then I rescheduled them to launch and they did. The trick is to get one scheduled, and then change the category to a valid one.

Hi Sparkz,

Methinks we're on the same page!

Yeah Lucy,
Since Ebay messed it up in the pottery and glass category with the item specifics experiment, any auction created during that time frame will error out on relist. So we have a choice of tricking the system to take it or redoing it from scratch. Sure seems weird having to list a soup tureen in the same category as chamberpots before you can divert it back where it belongs

Hi, guys. The auction item was a brand-new Earthquakes MLS soccer shirt for the MLS cup. I've now relisted it.

Good idea to get it scheduled again and then change the category. I couldn't tell from the message what the problem was to begin with, but I'm going to remember that for next time. Appreciate your help! Adele
