Now, all of a sudden, everytime I try to go to O, a SECURITY CERTIFICATE EXPIRED window pops up & FREEZES MY IE6 -- I can't do anything other than CTRL+ALT+DELETE!

Go into window updates and see if there is something you need to do to update your IE. It should pop up every once in a while but if it doesn't there must be a place to go to update them, probably the Microsoft webpage. When mines pops up I check and it to see if anything interesting is there that I need to do. I just had one a couple of weeks ago but I can't remember what needed to be updated.
