Is this not an option anymore? It used to be on the drop down list and now the only thing I can find is the non-paying bidder warning.

I saw on another thread that it has been replaced with the UID. Someone did find the reminder though and posted a link to it. That was last week I think.

I never use payment reminders. My cousin Bubba visits the slow paying customers in person and collects payment plus accrued interest. He has a very effective presentation that results in a 99% success rate.

Here's a thought. How about sending a personal e-mail reminder. Going through ebay's system is so goofed up that many of them don't even go through.
I found it was much more successful in completing the sale to send a personal e-mail instead of going through ebay any way.

Which thread did he say that on? That's an outright LIE! I left because of Bear AND Linda's constant negative postings. Look at all the thread titles by BEAR. I enjoy your posts. Especially your snappy comebacks. What a crock o' crap.

I've been sending manual reminders. It's mostly AOL customers so I don't even know if they are getting those. I'm sure they're get the NPB warnings. They somehow always do.

Here's the message I posted previously:
I remember a few days back there was a post on the board asking about how to leave an eBay Payment Reminder (it seemed to have disappeared since they started the Unpaid Item process). Anyhow... I was looking through some of my bookmarks.... and I found the following link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?SendReminderMessageShow&userid=YOUR_ID&pass=default&item=YOUR_ITEM_NUMBER
If you use this link... it will still let you send payment reminders to your bidders. Just replace the YOUR_ID with your ebay user ID and replace the YOUR_ITEM_NUMBER with whatever your item number is. I just used the link on a few of my bidders... so I know it still works. Hope that helps!
Last time I posted it... nobody was interested in it.... hope this time it helps people. I do think it helps to have a reminder being sent through an "official" ebay channel.

Thank eauctionmgnt! I copied and pasted that to save for future reference. I don't mind sending my own. However, I don't like sending them to AOL addresses.

LOL! Why don't I believe you? Could it be the Cleveland remark??? I'm sure Maggie doesn't believe you either. Oh brother, you are a card!!! Good think I'm not too tired to have a good sense of humor! I guess you have to have one to live here. There, I said it before you could.

wow cheryl funny you should mention that about the skunk.Last July I was out in the back yard vacuuming out my inground swimming pool.I looked over and saw this large area of black that looked like it was moving. It was 5 baby skunks all huddled together all moving in unison.I went over to investigate and they seperated, but I didnt get to close.I also got my hose out and sprayed them. They didnt seem to mind at all and in fact everytime I stopped spraying them they came toward me.I didnt have the hose on full force as I didnt want to hurt them and they eventually went back under the fence and went into the woods-never saw them again.Gotta tell you thou, they were so small and cute I guess they must have lost their mother.Good thing my wifes siameese cat is an indoor cat.
