I think I'm having a brain cramp...I can't think of what this small bowl is used for. It is a Hull Gray Mirror Drip Glazed Dish, but what was its intended use and its proper name? Is it an individual casserole, custard cup, fruit or dessert bowl, what the heck is it? It measures approx. 3 3/4 inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches high. Here is a picture of my little brain-teaser:

I can't find it in my Hull reference, but given the size, it almost has to be a custard. Second guess would be individual fruit bowl.

How about the sauce that you dip a roast beef sandwich in. Au juice or something like that. Don't laugh, I never took French!!

I believe it may the the "dip" bowl to a chip and dip. I'm pretty sure they had one, but it's not featured in my Hull book either.

I probably should have mentioned that I actually have a set of 6 of these bowls, so I'm thinking maybe custard cups at this point. But I guess I could use a number of descriptions in my subject line when listing them. Just thought I'd try to get the "correct" description before putting them on eBay. We'll see what happens.
