A friend of mine closed her gym and now wants to sell her equipment. I told her that there was a place on E-bay that was Regional Selling where the merchandise had to be picked up. I just looked all over E-bay and couldn't find anything. Do they no longer it?

You list as normal and then note that it is for pick up only. When someone is searching for your particular item they can choose to sort by "distance nearest".
I would suggest that your friend list on craigslist as well - I've sold quite a bit of large "pick up only" items successfully and there is no listing fee!
