Anyone else getting a lot of non payers or real slow payers lately? I mean this is getting out of hand now.

Usual week is about two, now 5-10 or like the past two weeks 20!

Never saw it this bad. And on top of that, a lot of real slow payers.

This is real bad when your paycheck depends on this. First we got a big dropoff in sales since April this year and now with non payers.

Be heading off to the soup line shortly!

I would never quit my day job for sales at eBay. There are too many things with eBay that can effect your business that you have no control over.

I've had more of a problem on Overstock than on eBay. Thank goodness for that because most of my sales are on eBay. Lately, I've had some really wonderful bidders.

I've definitely seen an increase. NPB used to be so rare for me that I was able to keep my npb info in my head. Now, I have a spreadsheet to keep track of the slow/no payers.

Buyers are much much slower, for me, in responding to EOA e-mails and in paying. No increase in NPBs - yet. Also, my hits are down, but that could be because I'm trying to sell some iffy collectibles.

Roadsmith, the date on your calculator is really iffy! You either have an amazingly rare one or someone told you a story about the years they were in engineering school.

check this out...

***PS, the tansistor was not even mass produced before the mid 1960's.

Ltray: Thanks so much for catching this! I've ended the auction. A 1977 calculator ain't worth listing, I think. My husband and I had confused that one with a different one that he'd used. I appreciate your pointing this out. ~Adele

I would covet a base 60 calculator...would have made my television production years sooo much easier...I saw one once...an old led display quivering with those seconds, minutes and hours...sigh.

Oh my Roadsmith, I did not mean for you to end the auction, just correct the date! I bet some geek out there
would love a TI-55. When I was in tech school, it was a very expensive but well needed tool.
The TI-55 is a piece of history for anyone who was in the computer field in the 70's and 80's.

My brother started tech school 6 months before I did and had to pay $175 for his TI.
I lucked out and the price had dropped to $125 when I bought mine. A REAL sTEAL! lol

Now you can get all those log functions on a $20 import.

Looks like they sell on feebay if you list them correctly..

Okeydoke, Ltray! I've relisted the danged thing.

Trouble is, I'm old enough that the 70s just don't "feel" collectible to me. But I'll give this one a try.

Roadie, I always swore that when the tacky 60's laminated wood tables or plastic curtains became collectible, I would get out of the business. Now, I find myself looking for that junk!

Memories make us get goofy about our childhood, I guess....
