Hi Ladyjewels...I don't know. However, the ads and only a few items per page makes it cluttered to me.
Guess I'll watch and wait...we've listed only one item.

I checked it out and won't go back. Everytime I went to look at something, I had to peer at a Bush advertisement first. It didn't directly say vote for Bush, but the idea was definately there. I wanted to look at items, not at Bush.

Didn't see one political ad!
But from the prices asked, I thought I was at Christy's New York!

I did it today. Absentee voting started last Monday in Texas. You can vote by mail or at the polling place. There was a short line, so the interest is going to be high.

No offense, but please refrain from posting that stuff here. Use the RT. Most of us are pretty sick of all the petty election crap - FROM BOTH SIDES.

Cheryl: No offense, but I'm just answering the post above mine. Try telling that to tom who ends each post here with his political stuff and has been for ages. Have you complained to him??
Peace and love.

Also, tell glassgrl who has a post here complaining about politics. I answered that one too. That one really amounts to a political post too IMO. I in no way endorsed any candidate. Just answering the post above mine. I don't see you complaining about the posts that match your political opinions.

And, Cheryl, you started the whole thing with your post. My post is no more political than yours.

Have a good evening. Bill

Gee, ye NEVER whine about stoney's 1/2 page garbage or ebayvets original insulting pic...

When I see ya whine BEFORE my response, etc, etc.

EASY SOLUTION: ya don't like my SIG LINE ~ use the IGNORE BUTTON...easy as fighting off a rabid pretzel!

I simply made the comment of what I observed when I tried to look at things to by at the flea market site. It stayed on topic. Sig lines are a completely different thing. If you think tomwiii's is bad, what pray tell do you think of mine? It may not be as openly political as tomwiii's, but it is meant to be.

Lucy

LOL! See if this LONG link works to what I was talking about.

http://www.ivillage.com/arrival/0,,603097,00.html?arrivalURL=http%3A//magazines.ivillage.com/countryliving/fleamarket/archive/0%2C%2C650869%2C00.html&arrivalPromoID=603097&arrival_freqVal=24&arrival_freqInterval=hours&arrival_freq=1&cobrandRef=0

It probably wasn't meant to be political, but it sure is borderline.

Jeeze, Cheryl, if that's not political I'm not a dyed-in-the-wool-Two-Buck-Chuck-penny-slot-fanatic!

Needless to say, I won't be participating in their so-called Flea Market.

Seriously, I've already voted and I AM getting pretty darn tired of seeing pictures of politicians every place I look, including here. At least I'm not seeing them on TV, I guess the stations I watch don't run that nonsense...

Edited to add: This whole stoopid political thing is just so, so boring... I'll be happy when it's over. I guess that's the first part of next month?

Isn't that just a banner ad on the ivillage Country Living Flea Market site? Don't most ivillage pages have big banner ads across the top?

If so, what a big- "OOPS!". Imagine alienating half your target audience just like that. Not a good way to start off.

You know, I just thought of something else.

So far I've not seen any posts that had relevant content that might have changed my political mind, as far as I would vote, I mean.

It's only been unflattering pictures and cartoons. (I haven't checked any of the links, don't intend to.)

How true. Usually, such posts are probably counter-productive.

That is because tomwii and that idiot Ralphie are the biggest posters of political garbage. When they go away, so will all the rest. When tomwii speaks, nothing but crap comes out.

Come on, stone, give it a rest, will ya? We listen to your blabbering all the time.

Lucy

LOL! My TV is my alarm clock in the morning. Imagine being roused out of bed to political ads on the TV! Nothing like starting your day out in a bad mood.

Edited to add: Lucy, click on the link now. It's about lubricants - and NOT for your car. LOL!!!! Maybe they should rethink this whole thing.
